hello hello
Good news keep coming. Hmm. So first ETA cease of fire "permanent" and now Matt's friend Jill was released in Iraq. Great. And my little brother got a job. And 3 babies are due next month (matt's, eve's and claudio's...). And it's SPRING and it finally starts feeling warmer!!! . And the new "i have something in my eye" is ready, or almost (not sure how we did it this time, but we did.. thanks to all the ones that helped). And I feel I've been gone from this for a while, I have been all over the place.. it feels like my head was somewhere else, Hungary or something weird like that.

Great artist, and great book covers that hold up pretty good, if you ask me. You can read more about him, here.

experimento #32

Ultimamente he estado serigrafiando locamente.

Learning to love you more

I love this project I just found somewhere.
It's both a web site and series of non-web presentations comprised of work made by the general public in response to assignments given by artists Miranda July and Harrell Fletcher. Yuri Ono designs and manages the web site.
Participants accept an assignment, complete it by following the simple but specific instructions, send in the required report (photograph, text, video, etc), and see their work posted on-line. Like a recipe, meditation practice, or familiar song, the prescriptive nature of these assignments is intended to guide people towards their own experience.
Take a picture of your parents kissing, braid someone's hair, take a picture of the sun, make a paper replica od your bed, make a documentary video about a small child, make a poster of shadows.... (and see what some others did too).

Where have you been?

You can create the map of where you've been in this website.
20 countries 8% of the world. I need a year or two touring the world to catch up. So much to see out there.
If you've been to china is cool, or russia. Because you get that big red thing right away. Hmmm.

Boonika

I have been pretty unproductive lately... hmmm...
So here, some cool drawings to get lost into. Similar to the wooster collective, boonika is a web where a bunch of illustrators upload their work. There is some really cool stuff on there. Some of them, deja vue.

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream."
- Mark Twain
